Who can join the SSPHA?
Membership is open to state-operated psychiatric hospitals in the southern states. If you are a state hospital administrator and are interested in SSPHA membership for your facility, please contact the Board of Directors member from your state.
How large is the association?
The SSPHA has 61 member hospitals from 13 southern states.
What does the association do?
The association assists member state hospitals to carry out their mission more effectively in the mental health system by addressing issues involving treatment, administration, standards and systems.
